Musician Biography
The eighth and final child in a Boston-Irish family, Jamie grew up in a house filled with music. Both of his parents were gifted natural singers and every sibling either sang or played an instrument. He gravitated early toward playing drums and piano, writing his first song by age 10.
Following high school, Jamie pursued music full-time, eventually receiving his bachelor and master of music degrees in classical music performance, education, and conducting. During this time, he wrote and performed jazz, classical, R&B, and other music extensively in his native Boston and abroad, eventually earning the distinction of 'Boston's Best Drummer' in the mid-1980's.
